Here is information about some of our forthcoming special events

MINI-OPEN DAYS at WIMBORNE LIBRARY

Wimborne U3A will be holding a series of Promotion Mornings to showcase some individual groups.

The leaders of each of these groups will be there to talk about their group and its activities.

These events will start at 10:00.You are welcome to drop in and talk to a Committee member to find out more about these groups or about any other activity in the new Autumn programme starting on 2nd October.

OPEN DAY – YOUR LOCAL U3A ON SHOW

Wimborne U3A will be holding an Open Day on Friday, 1st September from 10:00 until 1:00 at Wimborne library.

This will enable members of the public to discover what the U3A organisation is all about and find out all the different groups and activities that are currently available in the Wimborne U3A Autumn programme.

This year as well as Committee members, we have asked four of our leaders to talk about their group’s activities - Table Tennis, Everyday Economics, Walking and Scrapbooking.

Maybe you have just moved to the area or recently retired, if so come and talk to us and see if we can provide something that appeals. There will be committee members and leaders to answer your questions and if you like what you hear perhaps you will join and maybe even consider running your own group.
