The advanced group meets in the Methodist Church  

During the hour long session on Tuesday mornings
the group reads the news which has been downloaded from
Deutsche Welle and listen to recorded items.  
All of which is provided kindly by one of the members.

The Advanced Michel Thomas CD course is used
by members on their own.  

The Beginners Group meets every Tuesday in members’ homes.

The Michel Thomas CD course is followed.  

This course is very different from traditional courses - there is no reading or writing involved only listening.

This way of learning a language was something of a culture shock but we are adapting and find that we learn by absorbing.

The whole atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable and not at all pressurized.

Discussions during the sessions give another dimension and what is more it works!
